New Editions Consulting, Inc., seeks a junior analyst to help with data analysis and research and evaluation projects. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Position is located in Falls Church, VA.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage tracking spreadsheets for multiple data collection efforts, multiple projects
Apply consistent standards and exceptional eye for detail to clean data, removing identifying information and/or identifying anomies in data
Work with project management to prioritize business and information needs
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Requirements
Candidate must have strong capability with Excel spreadsheets and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets, such as SPSS and Stata.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial.
BS in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
Candidates must be comfortable in a team environment and be able to multitask.
