New Editions provides technical assistance (TA) services to 27 grantees awarded under the Disability Innovation Fund--Creating a 21st Century Workforce of Youth and Adults with Disabilities Through the Transformation of Education, Career, and Competitive Integrated Employment Model Demonstration Project. DIF grantees are working to enhance state programs that create and expand opportunities for high-quality competitive integrated employment (CIE) by engaging with employers across various sectors – including traditional, non-traditional, flexible, and freelance opportunities. By fostering inclusive employment practices and supporting employer efforts to meet CIE standards, the DIF program aims to ensure that individuals with disabilities achieve economic security and full social integration. New Editions supports this effort by providing robust and responsive TA using multiple delivery modes and adult learning methods customized to meet the various grantee needs. Specific tasks under this contract include:
Convening a Technical Working Group to advise and inform TA activities;
Establishing and maintaining a community of practice (COP);
Providing national and individual grantee TA based on a comprehensive TA needs assessment;
Developing and hosting webinars, training, and presentations;
Planning and hosting annual DIF Project Directors’ meetings; and
Providing program data analyses and other quick turn-around deliverables.
