The Accessibility Compliance Management System (ACMS) is a fully accessible, web-based software application designed to track Section 508 Program Office activities and compliance for all Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Components. The system was custom-built for the DHS Office of Accessible Systems & Technology (OAST), which provides governance and oversight for DHS accessibility programs. ACMS is also a centralized Project Management system that enables users to generate critical reports for OAST management and DHS Chief Information Officers in the areas of 508 management, governance and services. It is an important tool that consolidates essential information for assessing the progress of meeting Section 508 compliance requirements.
