New Editions analyzes the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research’s (NIDILRR's) Annual Performance Report (APR) data through a subcontract with RTI International. The purpose of the APR is to collect data from NIDILRR’s grantees concerning their project foci, activities and progress, and contributions to society’s capacity to provide opportunities and accommodations to citizens with disabilities.

Under a subcontract with Insignia Federal Group, New Editions supported the Technology & Accessible Resources Give Employment Today (TARGET) Center, which assists the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in addressing a wide spectrum of accessibility and accommodation interests for agencies and employees. Solutions provided included individual technology accommodations, ergonomic design and injury prevention, emergency preparedness, training and education, and the expansion of innovative practices to enhance the USDA employer of choice capability.

The purpose of this report is to inform Congress and the public about the progress being made in implementing the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). These reports to Congress reflect a history of persistent commitment and effort to expand educational opportunities for children with disabilities.

New Editions assists the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in the national implementation of regulations, particularly in regards to ensuring that beneficiaries receiving home and community-based services (HCBS) live and work in settings that are home and community-based and are integrated into the community. In March 2014, CMS published regulations to improve Medicaid HCBS by providing increased guidance on person-centered planning and by clarifying what protections must be in place when restrictions are imposed on individual rights.

The Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Technical Assistance (TA) website provides technical assistance to state agencies pursuing 1915(c), 1915(i) and 1915(j) HCBS waivers and state plan amendments.

Money Follows the Person (MFP) Technical Assistance (TA) Needs Assessment is a survey that collects data on states' progress and TA needs in implementing the MFP Demonstration.

The Money Follows the Person (MFP) Technical Assistance (TA) Tracker allows MFP-related professionals to track TA requests and outcomes. It allows users to track assigned requests, reassign requests to other users, add comments to requests and more.

The National Clearinghouse of Rehabilitation Training Materials (NCRTM) website offers vocational rehabilitation and education communities an opportunity to contribute new knowledge to their specific fields and gain visibility for their work.

The Interagency Committee on Disability Research (ICDR) website is designed to assist the ICDR in its goal to promote coordination and cooperation among federal departments and agencies conducting disability, independent living, and rehabilitation research programs. The site contains ICDR activities, disability research news, ICDR reports and general federal disability research resources.
