Falls Church, VA, March 1, 2021 – The Department of Labor, Chief Evaluation Office (CEO), awarded New Editions Consulting, Inc. a Communication, Dissemination, and Outreach Support contract. On the effective start date of March 1, 2022, New Editions and subcontractor, the Fors Marsh Group, began to strengthen the CEO’s relationship with its stakeholder community by increasing the reach and impact of its funded work.

Falls Church, VA.  March 14, 2017 – New Editions Consulting, Inc. is pleased to announce that one of our own, Dr. Cherie Takemoto, has been awarded the Commendation Award from the National Association of Rehabilitation Research and Training Centers (NARRTC). The mission of NARRTC is to promote the full inclusion of people with disabilities in American society through applied research and training.

WINNER 2016 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence

New Editions' AbleData website has been awarded the APEX 2016 Award of Excellence in the category Websites - Special Purpose. The 28th Annual Awards for Publication Excellence is an international competition that recognizes outstanding publications from newsletters and magazines to annual reports, brochures and websites. There were over 1,600 total entries this year, and AbleData received one of five awards in our category.

New Editions Consulting, Inc. continues to receive positive feedback on Section 508: Improved Testing Methods and New Directions in Program Management, a seminar hosted last month. Federal and private sector Section 508 managers and practitioners attended to learn the latest about new methods and efficiencies in testing for Section 508.

Falls Church, VA.  May 5, 2016 – New Editions and its partners, the USBLN® and AAPD, wrapped up the Second Annual Disability Equality Index (DEI). The deadline for companies to complete the survey was March 11, 2016. There was nearly a 15% increase in participating companies over last year, surpassing the goal of achieving a 10% increase. Company responses will now be reviewed and scores will be calculated and published in late spring.

Falls Church, VA. April 30, 2016 – New Editions supported The Arc of Northern Virginia Corporate & Community Team Challenge 8k walk at Burke Lake Park. Thank you to Angelica Herrera, Yvonne Shimokado, Claudette David, Sadie Hagberg and Megan Hagberg for participating and congratulations on getting in those extra steps despite the rainy weather.

Falls Church, VA. April 7, 2016 – New Editions’ book club donated children’s books to Martha’s Table.  Each year, the members of the New Editions book club participate in a book drive to collect books for a local nonprofit or service organization. This annual event is a great way for the group to give back and share their love of reading with others – particularly young readers. This year our book club donated books for infants and toddlers, elementary school students, and middle school students to Martha’s Table.

Falls Church, VA. March 23, 2016 – New Editions employees attended the AAPD Gala. The AAPD Leadership Awards Gala provides a unique opportunity for AAPD’s partners, supporters, and colleagues to show their support of Americans with all types of disabilities while bringing together the national cross-disability community with business and government leadership for one night each year.

March 4, 2016 – New Editions was awarded a contract with NIDILRR to provide Management Support. Robert Bartolotta is the Project Manager of the team and will lead activities that include Annual Reports to Congress, Technical Reports for the agency, and the development of their 2018-2022 Long-Range Plan.

October 25, 2013 – In partnership with SRA International, New Editions will develop a Tracking System for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Section 508 Program Office to support program management activities.
