The OAST Informational Calendar was developed for the DHS Office of Accessible Systems & Technology (OAST) as part of its comprehensive marketing plan. This calendar, which highlights historical dates commemorative of significant disability legislation and other major events, was used to promote the OAST message and services at disability-related events.

The Office of Accessible Systems & Technology (OAST) Strategic Plan was developed by New Editions in conjunction with OAST’s senior leadership to convey the strategic direction of the newly formed office to its customers and stakeholders. This five-year plan describes the alignment of OAST priorities and activities with its mission, vision, goals and strategies.

OAST Accessibility Training Fact Sheets are flyers designed to inform DHS employees about all the Section 508 and accessibility trainings that OAST has to offer. Developed by New Editions, these fact sheets were created as part of the OAST training outreach program.

Designed to fit inside the pocket of the OAST Brochure, the OAST Employee Brochure Tabs provide more detailed information about Office of Accessible Systems & Technology (OAST) services, including Training, Governance and Compliance, and the DHS Accessibility Help Desk suite of services.

The OAST Employee Brochure was created as part of a comprehensive marketing campaign to provide DHS employees with information about the newly formed DHS Office of Accessible Systems & Technology (OAST). The brochure describes OAST’s mission and provides a general overview of the office and its programs.

This folder provides a brief overview of the Disability Program Navigator (DPN) initiative. It includes detailed information about what DPNs are and how they help people with disabilities, employers and workforce development representatives create positive employment outcomes for job seekers with disabilities.

This brochure presents findings from employer focus groups; groups that were created to determine what would compel more employers to employ people with disabilities. It outlines employment issues most pressing to employers, and dispels some of the common myths often associated with employing people with disabilities.

This report documents the efforts and results of the Disability Program Navigator (DPN) Initiative from July 2003 to June 2010. It describes how the program was established and the transformative strategies and effective practices that were utilized to place individuals with disabilities in the jobs identified through the program.
