Shared Development and Delivery Services & 508 Compliance

Through a subcontract with IBM, New Editions is responsible for supporting the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Section 508 Coordinator in advancing the TSA Section 508 program. New Editions assists with the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) for Section 508 compliance through testing and auditing using DHS Trusted Tester process and approved testing tools; TSA ITBUY acquisition package reviews to ensure Section 508 compliance; Section 508 outreach and communications; Section 508 training; development of Section 508 performance metrics; Section 508 program activity and compliance reporting; and development of project products such as a communication plan and project plan in support of this contract. We also provide accessible survey development and reporting, electronic document assessments and accessible document training for TSA.
