Through a subcontract with IBM, New Editions is responsible for supporting the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Section 508 Coordinator in advancing the TSA Section 508 program.

New Editions offers Section 508 Trusted Tester assessment and support services to Amentum's Department of Homeland Security (DHS) eLearning projects. Our services include conducting assessments, offering remediation guidance, and providing Section 508 technical assistance as required.

New Editions provides Section 508 support services to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), and Customer Experience Directorate (CXD). The office is responsible for providing the DHS vision and strategic direction to ensure that Information and Communications Technology (ICT) procured, developed, maintained, or used by DHS is accessible to employees and customers with disabilities.

Through a subcontract with CENTRA Technology, Inc., New Editions provides Section 508 Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support of the ITA training mission requirement to develop and deliver eLearning that meets customer and stakeholder requirements. We assess eLearning for Section 508 conformance and provide SME and technical assistance as needed.

New Editions supported the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS’s) Office of Accessible Systems & Technology’s (OAST’s) Trusted Tester Certification program. The purpose of this program is to increase the capability and capacity of the DHS workforce and other federal agencies to support the Federal government’s mission to comply with Section 508.

Through a subcontract with Monster Government Solutions, New Editions provided program management for the development of a career site and advertising campaign to attract and manage candidates applying for the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) disaster reservist positions.

Through a subcontract with IBM, New Editions is helping to ensure TSA's compliance with Section 508 by providing policy support, compliance testing, validation, and verification and technical assistance and training. Under this contract, we perform the following key duties for TSA:

New Editions provided Section 508 support to the U.S. Coast Guard web team (CG633) by assessing documents and sites for Section 508 compliance. Information Communication Technology (ICT) products are vital to Coast Guard operations, and the Coast Guard is dependent on the Internet to communicate and distribute critical information. We assessed the Coast Guard's public facing websites for accessibility and assisted with remediation of sites that were not compliant. We also assessed documents for accessibility and provided remediation assistance for non-accessible documents.

New Editions provides technical support to the Office of Accessible Systems & Technology (OAST) by addressing the accessibility of electronic and information technology (EIT) under Section 508, and its accommodation responsibilities under Sections 501 and 504.
