Through a subcontract with CENTRA Technology, Inc., New Editions provides Section 508 Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support of the ITA training mission requirement to develop and deliver eLearning that meets customer and stakeholder requirements. We assess eLearning for Section 508 conformance and provide SME and technical assistance as needed.

New Editions supports the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Office of Accessible Systems & Technology’s (OAST) Trusted Tester Certification program. The program increases the capability and capacity of the DHS workforce and other federal agencies to support the Federal government’s mission to comply with Section 508. Under the contract, our Senior Section 508 Trusted Testers deliver rigorous, instructor-led courses on a formalized website and applications testing methodology, known as DHS Section 508 Compliance Test Process for Applications, to section 508 testers.

Through a subcontract with Monster Government Solutions, New Editions provided program management for the development of a career site and advertising campaign to attract and manage candidates applying for the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) disaster reservist positions.

Through a subcontract with IBM, New Editions is helping to ensure TSA's compliance with Section 508 by providing policy support, compliance testing, validation, and verification and technical assistance and training. Under this contract, we perform the following key duties for TSA:

New Editions provides Section 508 support to the U.S. Coast Guard web team (CG633) by assessing documents and sites for Section 508 compliance. Information Communication Technology (ICT) products are vital to Coast Guard operations, and the Coast Guard is dependent on the Internet to communicate and distribute critical information. We assess the Coast Guard's public facing websites for accessibility and assist with remediation of sites that are not compliant. We also assess documents for accessibility and provide remediation assistance for non-accessible documents.

New Editions provides technical support to the Office of Accessible Systems & Technology (OAST) by addressing the accessibility of electronic and information technology (EIT) under Section 508, and its accommodation responsibilities under Sections 501 and 504.
